Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: January 2026
Corigen Py is a professional engineering practice. This policy defines the kinds of work we will accept, and the kinds we will not. Engaging Corigen Py constitutes agreement to these terms.
Permitted Work
We build custom Python software for lawful commercial purposes, including but not limited to: workflow automation, internal tooling, data pipelines, API integrations, public-data scraping, AI agent orchestration, and bespoke business systems.
Prohibited Work
We do not build, and will decline engagements involving:
- Malware, spyware, ransomware, credential stealers, or any offensive security tooling intended for unauthorized access
- Systems designed to defraud, deceive, or impersonate individuals or institutions
- Scraping or processing of personal data in violation of applicable privacy law (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Circumvention of platform Terms of Service where such circumvention is unlawful in the user's jurisdiction
- Generation, distribution, or moderation evasion of CSAM, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content depicting real-world violence against identifiable persons
- Spam infrastructure, robocall systems, or unsolicited bulk messaging tools
- Market manipulation, wash trading, or systems intended to mislead financial markets
- Tooling that targets critical infrastructure (utilities, healthcare, transportation) without proper authorization
- Systems whose primary purpose is harassment, doxxing, or stalking
Web Scraping Standards
Scraping engagements are accepted only when the target data is publicly accessible, the use case is lawful in the client's jurisdiction, and the architecture respects reasonable rate limits. We will not bypass authentication, paywalls, or technical access controls without documented authorization from the data owner.
AI Integration Standards
AI persona and agent work must include appropriate disclosure where the end user is interacting with automated systems. We will not build AI tooling that impersonates real, identifiable individuals without their consent.
Enforcement
We reserve the right to decline any engagement at our sole discretion, and to terminate an active engagement — with pro-rata refund for undelivered work — if scope drifts into prohibited territory. We may report unlawful activity to relevant authorities where required by law.
Reporting
